A bit about us...

We are Tineke and Philip Gorman.

We live in our Cheshire home with our three beautiful Afghan hounds Marco (Jimellree Night to Remember at Keldehan), Survy (Ishara Star of the Survival) and Angel (Zharook Dreams Come True for Keldehan).

Tinekes love of the Afghan Hound started at a very young age: Her parents getting their first Afghan puppy in 1968 (bred by Betty Mcclark of the Shanshu kennel), they then went on to rehome a number of rescues.

Tineke first visited Crufts in 1995 and soon after Otto arrived. Then in 1997 Tineke bought her first showdog Theo...This became the start of the dog show bug!

In 2000 Tineke met Phil, also brought up with lots of animals; Phil soon fell for the distinctive Afghan character! Phils true passion is photography and the beautiful Afghan Hound makes the perfect subject.

After 6 years together and the purchase of our first house, we decided the time was right for a puppy together. Thus, Marco arrived the week before christmas in 2006.

In early 2009 the Keldehan affix was born: Keldehan comes from the words 'Kelsall' where we live, 'Delamere' the forest near to our house and Afghan. We are looking forward to many more years of showing and loving this wonderful breed.

In 2010 we imported Ishara Star of the Survival 'Survy' from Hungary; we picked him up and brought him back to the UK In October 2010, to become our third Afghan and a new playmate for Theo and Marco.

2012 has been a very exciting year here at Keldehan. After 12 years together, we got married in June 2012 and in July 2012 our gorgeous new girl Angel arrived from the Zharook kennel.
